Coal India Limited (CIL) has activated the online application link for recruitment to the post Management Trainees (MT) through GATE 2021 Scores on 10 August 2021. All interested candidates can apply for CIL MT Recruitment on or before 09 September 2021 on CIL website www.coalindia.in under the link “Career with CIL.
A total of 588 vacancies are available for Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering and Geology Branchies.

Eligibility Criteria for Coal India Management Trainee Post
Educational Qualification and Experience:
Other - B.E. / B. Tech / B.Sc. (Engg.) from a University/Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India and should be regular full time course. The minimum qualifying marks for GENERAL (UR), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) & Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category candidates are 60%. For SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, relaxation of 5% is given in
the minimum qualifying marks i.e. 55%.
Geology - M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Geology or Applied Geology or Geophysics or Applied Geophysics with minimum 60% marks.
CIL MT Selection Process
Eligible candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2021). Based on the GATE-2021 Scores/Marks and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise, category-wise in a ratio of 1:1.50 for further selection process. The final merit list will be prepared for each discipline on the basis of GATE-2021 Scores/Marks.
